Although jane iredale stands behind the safety and efficacy of their products, we cannot answer any questions regarding the use of jane iredale products during pregnancy. It is always best to consult with your physician for guidance.

Many clients choose Liquid Minerals to cover rosacea because it provides sheer to medium coverage. If more coverage is desired, client can choose to apply Amazing Base Loose Mineral Foundation on top. If the skin is very red, a yellow-based shade, such as Warm Silk, Amber, Warm Sienna or Golden Glow may provide the coverage needed. While jane iredale™ products may be used to cover rosacea, Clever Beauty always suggest a consultation with a clinician to discuss medical skincare concerns.

Applying a matte powder such as PureMatte, Amazing Matte or another foundation on the eye lids to absorb excess oil and create a base for eye makeup will help prevent this.

No, nano particles are not used in jane iredale™ products.

While no industry is immune to the changes in economic conditions driven by inflation, logistical challenges, and rising costs of all aspects of production and supply, the small increase in RRP will provide certainty to pricing through the remainder of 2022 and beyond with no further changes expected. The updated RRP also represents increased profit opportunities with individual stockists still able to set prices as required in their market.

It is best to determine the skin’s undertone with no makeup on. Yellow, golden, or olive tones generally indicate a warm undertone. Or, if a more pink or natural flush is present, that would indicate cool undertones. If a combination of pink and yellow is present, or perhaps neither is more prevalent, this would indicate a more neutral undertone.

jane iredale™ compacts are refillable. Flip the compact over and look for a small hole near the hinge. In the tiny hole, use something small such as a pin head or bobby pin to remove the old powder cake and then a new pressed powder refill will fit inside. It’s held in by a magnet which makes it very easy to take the refill in and out.

“Clean” rather than “natural” is a better word to describe jane iredale™ products. jane iredale™ takes pride in eliminating toxins and questionable ingredients.

jane iredale™ brushes are designed specifically for jane iredale™ makeup in order to produce the best effect from their powders, creams, and liquids. jane iredale™ brushes are made of unique vegan bristles that create even, smooth coverage, and are durable and easy to clean. Each of these factors are important to your clients and unique points to differentiate jane iredale™ brushes from their competitors.

Hydration Spray plays an important role in the overall finish of jane iredale™ makeup. They are designed to set the minerals in the makeup, prolonging wear and creating a smooth, natural finish. For dry and sensitive skin, try D2O Hydration Spray. For oily skin, Balance is recommended. POMMISST or Calming Lavender can be used with all skin types. Of course, some clients choose a spray based on their scent preference!

Enlighten Concealer is designed to cover hyperpigmentation. It has an intense peach tone that is helpful for camouflaging dark spots.

PurePressed Base and Amazing Base provide anywhere from sheer to full coverage depending on how much is applied. A light dusting can be applied for sheer coverage or layer powder using the Flocked Sponge and Hydration Spray for full coverage. PurePressed Base provides a semi-matte finish while Amazing Base provides a luminous finish.

jane iredale™ has a handful of products for oil control! Smooth Affair for Oily Skin is a great primer to control oil and prep the skin for makeup. PurePressed Base Foundation provides a semi-matte finish and is most suitable for normal to oily skin. Balance Hydration Spray will set makeup and balance the oil production in the skin. PureMatte and Amazing Matte translucent finishing powders will eliminate shine, absorb oils, and create a matte finish.

When choosing a blush or bronzer, it depends on personal preference. To create a natural look, use a blush or bronzer that is the same undertone as the skin. For a more dramatic look, choose a blush or bronzer that has a little more saturation or color, but still the same undertone of the skin.

When selecting an eye shadow, it depends on the client’s own personal preference. For blue eyes, jane iredale™ suggests rich browns, gold, bronze or champagne coloured shadows. For Brown Eyes, jane iredale™ suggests trying deep purple, bronzy golds, or, for a little drama, try a mossy green eye shadow. For green and hazel eyes, jane iredale™ suggests purples, pinks, coppers, and rust tones.

It depends on your complexion and skin type! jane iredale™ offers five foundations to choose from.

PurePressed Base: provides a semi-matte finish with sheer to full coverage. It can be worn by any skin type but is best for one who has normal to oily skin.
Amazing Base: provides a luminous finish with sheer to full coverage and works best for someone with normal to dry skin.
Glow Time BB Cream: provides a velvety finish with full coverage and works with all skin types.
Liquid Minerals: provides sheer to medium coverage with a dewy finish and is a good choice for one who has dry and sensitive skin.
Dream Tint: tinted moisturizer that provides sheer to medium coverage with a light and airy finish and works well for all skin types including oily skin.

PurePressed Base is most suitable for breakout prone skin. For extra coverage, applying Disappear Full Coverage Concealer is suggested.

When choosing a lip color, it depends on the client’s own personal preference!
When considering a lipstick, think about the following:
What type of finish is preferred: Glossy, Matte, Semi-Matte or Creamy?
What is your client’s favourite shade: Pink, Peach, Nude, Red, Plum?
What kind of pigmentation is preferred: Sheer or Full?

With a few simple questions, your client can find the perfect lipstick shade and may even decide to try something totally new!
